MainTrain 2007 delivers the goods
TORONTO, ON—The
MainTrain 2007 conference, produced by the Plant Engineering and
Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC), attracted more than 100
attendees to the main conference and more than 70 attendees to the new
Training Day last month here. Over four days, MainTrain 2007 offered
learning sessions, technical training workshops and Maintenance
Management Professional (MMP) certification.

Grant Forest Products wins PEM award
TORONTO, ON—At
MainTrain 2007, Grant Forest Products Inc. (GFPI) was named the winner
of the PEM 2007 Maintenance Awards. GFPI is the leading Canadian
manufacturer of Oriented Strand Board (OSB).

PEMAC Sergio Guy Memorial Award
TORONTO, ON—At
MainTrain 2007, the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of
Canada (PEMAC) announced the winner of its annual Sergio Guy Memorial
Award. This year's winner is Ron Bettin (Encana, Calgary), PEMAC
director and Alberta chapter president.
