Deutsche Lufthansa AG orders 8 additional Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen Regional Jets
Bombardier Aerospace announced late last week that Deutsche Lufthansa AG of Germany has placed a firm order for eight CRJ900 NextGen regional jets. The transaction involved the exercise of eight previously announced purchase rights. See more details of the deal here.

Canada and U.S. collaborate on Materials Research for Clean Energy
The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Natural Resources, recently announced a collaborative agreement under the Canada–U.S. Clean Energy Dialogue that will focus on clean energy research and development. The agreement will see Natural Resources Canada’s CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory (CANMET-MTL) work with the United States Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) on scientific research in support of materials for clean energy and energy efficiency.
