Wainbee Announces Exlar’s Most Compact Linear and Rotary Actuator

The new Tritex II electric actuators from Exlar are the highest power density, smallest footprint servo drive devices on the market.

Finally, you can incorporate a fully electronic solution in the space of your existing hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder.

The servo drive, digital positioner, and actuator are all in one convenient package, eliminating the labour costs for mounting and wiring the panels.

Configurable industrial PCs. Phoenix Contact Canada has introduced the ValueLine line of industrial PCs. Units are available in a wide range of models, screen sizes and CPU choices.

Safety sensing. The VITECTOR unit of FRABA Inc. has introduced 'safety edges,' devices that are mounted on the edges of large moving objects – such as doors – to provide a warning signal when the object comes into contact with a person or other object in its path.

Traverse drive systems. Amacoil/Uhing traverse drive systems for spooling and winding machines feature optional PLC-controlled sensing of spool flanges.

Geared slewing rings. igus has added a geared slewing ring bearing to its line of iglide ''PRT'' modules. Geared PRT slewing rings are said to be cost-effective and can be used in place of expensive ball bearings or rolling elements in many applications.

Motor contactors. AutomationDirect has announced Fuji electric contactors include higher coil voltages. The SC series components operate with ac coil voltage ranges of 440 to 480 V and 500 to 550 V at 60 Hz and are available in frame sizes of 43, 54 and 67 mm.
