The Future of LEDs
The applications for LEDs are expanding and evolving. The
traditional dominance of handheld devices is being challenged by solid
state lighting, displays and even medical and plant growth
applications. Technological developments are improving lifespan,
brightness and energy efficiency and, as a consequence, LEDs are being
taken seriously as mass usage items in a wide variety of applications.
So what do these developments mean for your business? With recent
technological progress, new opportunities in the LED industry are
emerging. Intertech-Pira’s landmark conference, The Future of LEDs,
promises to bring you right up-to-date with all the important advances
in this fast-moving technology and discuss applications for LEDs in a
broad variety of markets, including the advance into solid-state
lighting (SSL) and display systems. With presentations from
researchers, material suppliers, leading LED producers and users, this
conference will give you insight into both the technical and strategic
trends and provide you with a unique opportunity to debate the future
direction and areas of application for LEDs with the people shaping the
global LED market.
The conference takes place June 26-27 at Copthorne Tara Hotel, in
London, UK. But if, for whatever reason, you can’t make it, Canadian
Electronics magazine will bring you loads of information on LEDs,
optoelectronics and electronic displays in our June issue. Either way,
you’ll stay on top of developments in this growing industry.
