1. EDITOR'S NOTE:
Straight from the horse's mouth
We here at Advanced Manufacturing
believe we have one of the best industrial publications around and
we're always trying to improve the content we deliver to our readers as
well as how we deliver that content.
As most of you
probably know, we have since late last year offered our issues as
digital versions of the magazine, easily available and fully
interactive.
But don't take our word for it. Just
after the lauch of our latest digital edition - the October 2008 issue
- I received an email from Advanced Manufacturing reader Steve Chomniak, Senior Manager, Quality Assurance at F&P Manufacturing Inc. in Tottenham, Ont.
"There
are a lot of magazines that send emails to subscribers prompting them
to read articles from current issues online. They are typically not
very inviting and as a result I rarely read them. Your October
(digital) issue is the best I've seen to date. It was great to read it
like a real magazine in an easy to use format on my laptop. Great job."
Steve,
thank you for the kind words and to all of our other readers, please
feel free to send me your comments on the magazine and our other
services so that we can best meet your needs as manufacturing
professionals.
